You may have noticed that my blog is looking a little different! I woke up this morning with Boothopia migrated over to a new theme, and I just love it. It’s so bright, fresh and welcoming… I feel like it represents me a lot more than my previous theme. Here’s how it happened:
I was reading Rahab to Riches a couple of weeks ago and noticed a post about 1000 Blog Makeovers for Mother’s Day. I never REALLY liked my blog theme from the get-go, and it was starting to do some funky things that I really didn’t appreciate, but I was hoping to make it to a year of blogging before I invested in a rebrand.
The 1000 Blog Makeovers for Mothers Day was a promotional event run by Blogelina.com, which offers management services, tips and help for newbies. The premise was simple: Make a $10 donation, receive a free blog makeover! The donation went to Cure.org, a non-profit organization that offers life-saving medical procedures to children with conditions such as clubfoot, cleft lips and untreated burns. I thought this was a great idea, so I took the plunge and made the donation.
Not two days later, I received an email from Tanya at Blogelina.com to discuss my theme options. It took me a few days of narrowing them down because they’re all just so beautiful. But eventually, I picked The Adalynn, which is the theme you’re seeing now!
I’d just like to thank Tanya at Blogelina for her professionalism, timeliness and wonderful designs. This was a lovely idea for a great cause, and I’m very happy to have been a part of it. Having a new blog theme is a motivating thing – I just want to write now! So stay tuned for more posts from the new, improved Boothopia!

I totally agree, it was for such a good cause. And she was so professional, when there was something I had a question about, she fixed it right away for me.
I would absolutely recommend a Blogelina make-over to anyone. I don’t know how much they normally are, but they are worth it. The themes are beautiful and responsive!
