Can you believe how quickly this past year has gone by? I certainly can’t. When you’re a new parent, and I think many new parents would agree with me, the days can seem SO long, but then all of a sudden, weeks have passed, turning into months. Of course, the biggest thing that’s happened this year is that Boothopia gained a new resident – my sweet son, Lil’ Ziggy. He is such a beautiful blessing in my life, even on the harder days. What a month! As hard as I tried to post regularly in June, I just found that I was unable to. I spent pretty much the entire month in Ontario with Lil’ Ziggy, spending time with grandparents, great grandparents, uncles, family and friends who hadn’t seen him yet. It was a wonderful trip that I’ll cherish forever, but I’m glad to be back in Alberta with my husband, who was only able to spend the first week in Ontario with us. How far along: 28 weeks! According to BabyCentre.ca, this is the beginning of the third trimester. The home stretch! Baby size: Lil’ Ziggy weighs about 2.3 lbs and is about 14.8 inches long from head to toe. Belly: WOW. I didn’t realize just how much more I was sticking out until now, uploading this week’s pictures and comparing to last week’s. It’s amazing how much it can change in such a short amount of time!
